At Himbleton, children in Year 6 have the opportunity to put themselves forward for the positions of Head Girl and Head Boy through a formal application process, followed by an interview.  The two children elected represent the school at both informal and formal events in and outside of school, as well as supporting events, contributing to collective worship and supporting the Headteacher in the day-to-day running of the school.

Children at Himbleton are placed in one of three houses when they join the school; Ash, Elm and Oak.  Each house has two House Captains chosen from the Year 6 cohort who represent their houses, supporting younger children at inter-house events, leading house-based activities and collecting the much-coveted weekly House Cup, awarded to the House with the most Dojo points.

Pupil Parliament members are elected by their peers from Reception to Year 6.  They work together as a group, supported by the Head Boy and Head Girl, to look at areas of school life, to be the spokespeople for their classes and to share their views with staff. 

Himbleton's CREW team (Collective Worship Around RE) lead collective worship sessions in school and at Himbleton's Church.   Chosen from Years 4, 5 and 6, the CREW team remain in office for 3 years, meet regularly and are responsible for seeking children's responses to Collective Worship in order to shape these in the future.  

The school's Eco Team are passionate about their environment and work collectively towards ensuring that the school can work towards sustainability goals and to be more eco-friendly.  They are currently working towards an Eco Award in recognition of their impact on the school.
